Automatic Water level controller has been designed to have automatic operation of motor-pump set depending upon the level of liquid in underground as well as overhead tank. When the water reaches below set low level in overhead tank, the unit will switch on the motor pump set automatically. Similarly when the water level reaches to high level in the overhead tank, it will switch off the motor-pump set, provided underground tank is full of water.
If water level falls below set low level in underground tank, it will also switch off the motor pump-set though overhead tank is empty. Thus preventing the motor-pump set from dry running. It is available in different models, namely llc1 & llc2. Model llc1 can be used for three phase motors with dol or fasd starters. While model llc2 can be used for single phase motors upto 2 h.p. & model llc25 can be used for single phase subermisble pumps. Model llc1 measures 140 x 95 x 90 mm & weighs 650 grams approx. While model llc2 & llc25 measures 165 x 165 x 85 mm & weighs 1.6 kg approx. Special magnetic sensors can be used for non conductive liquids.

All the above models can be used for single tank or dual tanks.
To use unit for both tanks, all connection (OH,OL,C,UL,UH) should be used, Whenever liquid level in underground tanks falls below set low level. it swithches off the pump-set, Pumping will restart only when liquid level reaches to set high level ot above that only if demanded by overhead tank. Low level in underground tank to be set above foot-valve to avoid dry running of pump-set. Now motor operation will be as per level in overhead tank.
To use unit for controlling levels in overhead tank, short points C, UL & UH. Now whenever level in overhead tank falls below set low level, unit operates pump-set automatically and when liquid level reaches to high level, it stops motor pump-set, Motor will reastart only when liquid level falls below low level.
To use the unit for underground tank, keep terminals OH & OL open, Now when liquid level falls below set low level, the unit switches off the pump-set & it will switch on the pump-set only when liquid level reaches to high level.
To check the operation of the EL+MCB & Shockguard (ELCB), test CKT is incorporated, By pressing push button on from side, artificial leakage is created. Electronic circuit senses the leakage current & trips the EL+MCB & Shockguard (ELCB) in order of sensitivity.
